Crowdsourcing
ESN recently organised a hugely successful online competition for design students. Ten designs, shortlisted from the 1,700 entries, were promoted virally through a Facebook group. The competition website, where members of the public were invited to vote on the designs, attracted 300,000 visitors. The winning entry, from Poland, will be the official poster for Europe Day 2010, on 9 May.
European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA)
After an initial contract to design FRA’s new logo last year, ESN is pleased to have been awarded two four-year Framework Contracts with the Agency, covering graphic design, layout, pre-press and printing. In addition, we are currently producing FRA’s new corporate identity manual, based on a comprehensive analysis of its communication objectives.
An eco-dynamic business
ESN works continuously to reduce its environmental impacts, and has for several years been enrolled as a voluntary participant in the Brussels-Capital Region’s ‘Eco-dynamic Business’ certification scheme. Following a recent inspection, the company was awarded a one-star label, and will continue to work towards higher standards.
