Certified quality

ESN’s reputation as a provider of top-quality communication products and services has been built on the back of tried-and-tested internal quality assurance procedures ensuring that each step of the workflow has its own set of checks and balances.

For example, any text, intended for public consumption is subjected to a second internal reading – at least – and layouts or new web-pages are checked by both the editor concerned and the project manager before being delivered or published.

In 2009, ESN also embarked on a campaign to translate its inherent ‘quality culture’ into the world-recognised ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality management systems.

High-level recognition of this kind requires a major commitment from the whole organisation and is an ongoing process built round eight key principles:

  • Customer focus
  • Leadership
  • Involving people
  • Process approach
  • System approach
  • Continual improvement
  • Factual approach to decision-making
  • Mutually beneficial supplier relations
