On behalf of the Commission’s External Relations DG, ESN produced a series of six leaflets to highlight the successes on the ground of the EU’s European Neighbourhood Policy, which promotes co-operation with the Union’s post-enlargement neighbours. Each leaflet focuses on a different theme, including the environment, civil society, R&D and trade. One of ESN’s roving reporters visited and wrote about numerous EU-backed projects – from girl-friendly schools in Egypt to migration centres in Ukraine – in five countries, from Georgia in the east to Morocco in the west.
